Useful Info and References (based on our trip) if you’re visiting Barcelona
Travel/Climate
We flew from Gatwick. There is a good Aerobus from airport – 30 minutes to the centre (the airport is approx. 14km SW of the city). I would recommend you get a Metro map and familiarize yourself with it, even if you walk everywhere. In January the climate was very mild (cardigans but no coats). However, I have been to Barcelona in June and it was very hot. This affects how much you can see (and eg what transport you use to get about)
